Decoding was far far faster and sat steady too.Ĥ:4:4 was impossible to run in game on either machine at h265. The M1 in general was way more consistent too. H265 took the same time as h264 on the 3090. The 3090 sat really steady the whole time. The 1080ti was way more inconsistent, the encoding times would bounce around a lot more. ![]() And location services will cause you to get a random lag spike every few minutes or so. Bluetooth being on caused my latency to bounce between 4ms and 20ms constantly which made it pretty terrible. MAKE SURE VSYNC IS ON, BLUETOOTH AND LOCATION SERVICES ARE OFF!!!! Without vsync, it was so stuttery, it was unplayable. I tested with Overwatch at 2560x1600 with FPS locked to 120 in game. And my host machine is a 5950x and 3090, as well as a 5600x and 1080ti. Parsec seems to agree and latency while streaming was the same. So network performance seems to be identical between them. If you are still having the issue, then try to delete the old machine and recreate a new one.So I have both a 2020 Intel MacBook and a M1 MacBook. You can also clean boot Windows to check if any other application is creating the issue. If you are using any other streaming/remote connection applications, then disable them as well.
